My current favorite lotion is rosemary scented, and I love that as well. Sometimes that lotion is the only scent I wear. All the classical planets have elemental associations, so I mix those in as well sometimes (Weds and Thurs are AIR, so I wear lemongrass) or to a specific Purpose (Friday is associated with drawing Love, so I wear Rose, or Sandalwood, or Vanilla). Mostly it's a function of what I'm into generally. I find that I'm into a lot of citruses, so that's a common one right now. Then I also have spicy favorites, like frankincense and cardamon blends. It's hard for me to get away from my favorites, so I go back and forth between these two a lot! For baths, it's almost always some selection of citrus. I guess I would have to say, a lot of times by the weather. If its gray and rainy outside, I may put on Patchouli or Musk. A few days ago I was wearing a brown silk skirt and emerald green top, so I wore an earthy scent that made me feel like walking through a forest on a summer day. Yesterday I was wearing navy blue and gray, so I chose a straight ambergris essential oil because I always think of the blue whales when I wear it. Today I was wearing a peacock blue silk dress, so I wore a jasmine and frangipani blend that makes me think of the peacocks in Goa, India. So, I was just wondering what inspires you???
