neem butter has a scent of its own i believe. There are others I've seen use parafin wax. One of my favorites is vanilla with coco butter, but that is like a lotion. it smells delicious though.

HI Jade i use to use this recipe many years ago

    1 part fractionated coconut oil
    1 part bees wax
    Essential oil

Put your bees wax and coconut oil into a non-reactive pan and heat on low until wax melts into the oil. You can test the consistency by sticking a cold spoon into the mix. If it is too hard or soft when it cools on the spoon, add wax or oil. Stir and let cool until you can touch the mixture, but before it starts to harden. Stir in fragrance oil to desired strength. Stir again and pour into containers.

I have made healing balms before I use beeswax, shea butter cocoa butter, & carrier oil(whatever I have handy), adding essential oils to the mix. Remember the mains bare tho. Good luck & have fun.
