I am very curious, they are not too expensive; but I am not a fan of lavender, so I am wondering who has tried the others, or where they migth be reviewed...
"The monks have to support themselves by their own labour. Traditionally this has been done by farming three hundred acres given over to oats, barley and a Jersey herd. The cows wander around unrestrained and are responsible for the yoghurt, clotted cream and particularly delicious ice cream, which you should all try in the tearoom. A more recent and less likely venture is the perfumery, where you can witness the surreal spectacle of silent monks poring over their bubbling apparatus. Caldey's indigenous gorse is the key ingredient in the fragrances, which are exported worldwide, and include Caldey perfume, Caldey "for men", and Caldey talcum powder. There are frequent sailings from Tenby (01834 842296 for details).?"
