I received a vial of amber perfume, with the resin still in it and
just can't get enough of it. In fact, I got it 3 weeks ago and it's almost
gone!

I must make more!

I have some resin and was wondering what would be a good
carrier.

shanks!!

I like to use almond oil as a base since it is extremely light and scentless. (I've been wearing amber for decades mixed with a few drops of other *secret* eos.....when folks hug me they always go mmmmmmmmmm - gotta love that!)

I just started making my own. Here is what I do-5ml jojoba oil, warm it up to about 90 degrees in the microwave, crush about .24 grams of amber and mix it in. Make sure you shake the oil well before each use, the amber won't totally disolve but will scent the oil nicely. I also make solid perfume, to your 5ml of oil add 1/4 teaspoon (heaping) of beeswax. Melt together and pour into container. I use vintage pill boxes I found on Ebay. Here are some sites for amber: www.edenbotanicals.com and www.snowdriftfarms.com. HTH
