beloved oakmoss!

i adore the smell of oakmoss and have experimented with a few combinations.
does anyone have a favorite combination that includes oakmoss? i'd love to hear it.

    Yes, yes. It is so underappreciated. To me it is the spirit of the dark forest, trampled by wild gods and nymphs. If find it is really stunning with any pines or fir oils. Of course patchouli. Mitti attar (that is an attar of sandalwood distilled through earth). And if you can get some mushroom absolute, it is also great for the forest floor dirt blends.
    All the classic chypre perfumes combine it with bergamot and usually jasmine.
    In fact, i am starting to wonder what would NOT be complemented by it.
    In Europe, it is being banned in personal fragrances because it causes skin sensitization in some people (though apparently this is really only due to one subtype of less expensive treemoss)... an example of the absurd side of the chemical sensitivity lawsuit.
