Hello Everyone,
So now the search begins for diffusers and nebulizers.
i see many different nebulizers
i bought one from rainbow groceries in sf,its sooo loud
looking at the moment at the spa scenter(company:hubmar of france)
seems to be at most aromatherapy stores, also need to get another nebulizer(quiet one)
do you guys use a diffuser or a nebulizer at home,if yes, which one?,any recommendations
Thanks alot :)

Re: Diffusers/Nebulizers
Tue, June 19, 2007 - 10:08 PMIf you find a good one, let me know. I find them all problematic. The traditional nebulizers tend to break and clog up all the time, and can be really loud. I have an aroma-stone which I like. it has a ceramic element and it gradually heats it, so you can use heavy oils and such without worrying about it gunking up, and is easy to clean. Lately, I have been putting my mixes into spray bottles and misting them when needed. -

i too gave up on diffusers
spent hundreds
spent hours upon hours cleaning them
every which way but loose
every once and a while i'll use the plug in diffuser
with the felt discs
since that utilizes heat & electricity
i am not fond of it
i use it seldom
mostly, i just mist
and put "puddles" of oils in little ceramic/clay pieces
and drop oils on hankies and cotton balls and stuff them everywhere
i am also interested in knowing what the aroma stones are
probably the littel ceramic/clay pieces i use, huh?
some shaped like flower pedals
some like little angels with pouches that hang by a ribbon on a hook
and hold the oil

Re: Diffusers/Nebulizers
Wed, June 20, 2007 - 6:36 PMI see that is spelled "Aroma Stone" if you google it. I think I bought it from nature's gift.
You plug it in and it gradually heats a ceramic bowl element. Seems quite safe and efficient. And works great for patchouli and such that are too thick for other diffusing.
