The book was incredible and the movie is pretty true to the book. HIGHLY RECOMMEND both. Thierry Mugler came out with a limited edition scent set to memorialize the movie and it is well worth looking for if you are a perfume lover.

Finally got to see it and I am impressed...very creative and rich imagery...and great expression from the actors...sure it was slightly disturbing but they didnt go much in to the actually murdering so that was cool...and the last part of the film was superb...esp as I havent read the book...so didnt know how it would go....it does get you thinking...

I finally, finally got to see this ... disturbing, but amazing too. What kept coming back to me was the idea that we really do detect (and react to) each others' DNA - we inhale it all the time (so say the scientists)... and the main character's lack of scent would surely weird-out other people in that case...

Really worth seeing, but be prepared, it's a ride...
