Hi Everyone who loves the smells of the natural world, & finds some healing from this special place. Id like to post a topic relative to the ingestion of particularly flower waters but also other botanicals. The ingestion of essential oils is a bit controversial, some might have taken some mint oil to calm a tummy, or eaten lozenges for a sore throat with eucalyptus and menthol, but the hydrosols and waters are a much safer way to ingest these wonderful sacred plants extracts. Iv been taking rose water in my water daily & have noticed how calming and beautiful life seems when under it's spell about 15ml to 750ml. When I were younger I developed an appreciation for the natural world, and loved the spring/summer months so much due to the locallly growing jasmine flowers which adding 2 flowers to a bottle of water is so refreshing, this was passed onto friends and has since become a thing we refered to as Princess water (Violet water is a winter habit of mine 2 flowers also) . Using hydrosols and waters is very similar and Iv been experimenting with the few well known ones, ie rose, orange flower, chamomile, & about to try hyssop ( on order).
I guess im wondering if anyone else has similar experience/s or other suggestions, I love to surround my day with botanical smells as much as I can & since water is a necesscity, It's so yummyily practical to include this for myself & want to share with other sensory fiends. lol :)

Re: Prince/cess waters.
Fri, August 17, 2007 - 9:26 AMI've not tried flowers in my water, but I have added a mint leaf or two on occasion. I also like the occasional lemon or lime wedge. Now I will have to try flowers! Thanks for the idea.
Blessings,
